After leaving ASTP I was assigned to the 104th Infantry (Timberwolf Division) then at Camp Carson Colorado.

August 1944 we went to France, Belgium, Holland & Germany where I was with the Finance Dept of the 104th. July 1945 returned to the US and scheduled for Japan but war ended before leaving so assigned to 9th Service Center in San Luis Obispo, Ca in the finance office discharging others until my number came up in November 1945.

From 1946-1949 I attended University of Calif at Berkeley and then Northwestern Univ (Chicago campus) where I received my Bachelor Science degree in Accounting.

From 1949-1954 I worked for Howard Hughes Aircraft in Culver City as an internal auditor.
From 1949-1955 I attended the University of Southern California in night school and received my Master degree in Business Administration ... Then having some GI time left I obtained California teaching credentials and taught in adult education evenings for a few years.
In 1949 I became a Public Accountant in California.
In 1954 started my own bookkeeping & accounting business and am still doing that. I have specialized in small business and personal income taxes.
Since 1955 I have been acquiring fixer-up real estate and now have men in the field & girls in the office renting them.

I have been married twice and divorced since 1969 ... I have one son who is a Sr Computer Programmer.

My spare time is utilized by plants. In 1969 I visited the jungles of South America. I have a large greenhouse here in Culver City, where in 1980 we opened the Tropical Rain Forest, a retail. plant shop with rainforest atmosphere. For a number of years I have been show chairman of the Culver City Garden Club annual show. I grow most all plants but primarily Orchids, Bromeliads & Scented Geraniums.
